This place serves delicious food! We loved it! The customer service was outstanding. My boyfriend dropped his chopstick and without even asking an employee brought him some new ones within 30 sec (I am not exaggerating) I def will come back View all feedback.
What Kiel Considine doesn't like about VN Pho & Deli:
VN Pho and Deli is an unassuming little restaurant tucked away in a nondescript set of stores on Charlotte Pike. And that appears to be exactly what the Luu-Nguyn family is looking for. The big Vietnamese joints are just across the street. VN Pho is going for a homier approach. View all feedback.
The best Vietnamese food! wn has essentially the best food of the 20 or more Vietnamese restaurants that I have tried in the usa. their garnels are always jumbo and very fresh. the shrimp spring rolls and diving sauce are perfect. the phobic is gently seasoned, but with a good taste. waiting for them personal is excellent and will customize dishes to their preferences. not visible from charlotte in a small strip mall, but better than others in the neighboring and worth to find. almost over the road of miss saigon.
A Must Try. Yes, you can get Pho here and numerous places on Charlotte Ave. But what's special here are: #23/24 Vietnamese sandwiches with cilantro, serrano peppers on 4 French rolls for $3!!; #2 Goi Cuon shrimp and spring rolls fresh and crisp 2 for $2.50; #19 Mi Xao Don Thap Cam-crispy egg noodles topped with seafood. Family run. NO CREDIT CARDS; NO Beer/wine, but may be able to bring. Open 11-9 except Tuesdays.
The fresh spring rolls come with a homemade peanut, coconut, hoisin dipping sauce which is delightful. The bun (rice noodles) #12 is my favorite. It is rice noodles over lettuce, and topped with pickled root veggies (carrot and daikon), egg roll and char-grilled (char siu) pork. The pork is marinated with a house made marinade, which I cannot decipher specifically. Most other restaurants in town who serve a char siu style pork, use a pre-packaged red flavor packet (fake chemical flavoring) to make marinate and make the pork. Not at VN, VN makes their own marinade, and makes the best char siu pork in this town (IMHO).
This is one of the best Vietnamese restaurant in nashville. it's just: order number 12. it's my favorite menu.
I love this place. I am a new convertor in Vietnamese eating and can't get enough breakage now. this is one of the few Vietnamese places in nashville that have it on the menu, and to very cheap trips. I also have the shrouding bark that is amazing, and a runway mi (super affordable and the boar is so good that said, maybe my favorites thing on the menu is the limade. serious, serious good it is small, so they need to get it right time to get a table instantly, but wait is worth it. monetary policy is a little annoying when considering that even food trucks can swap in these days, but I am willing to eat a special trip into the cash machines only here.
