My favorite place to dine in Nashville! The specials are always amazing, the service and professionalism of the staff is excellent, the atmosphere is great, and don’t get me started on that pork chop! View all feedback.
What david parry doesn't like about Urban Grub:
We arrived early for our reservation, but were seated promptly. Our server greeted us quickly and took our drink and appetizer orders. She followed up with us while enjoying the appetizers. After placing our main dish order, it took longer than expected for our food to arrive. Upon arrival, several items were room temperature, if not cold. After notifying our server, she asked a manager to visit us, which took longer... View all feedback.
I had a Cesar salad and the black ones. the other 3 in our party had various breakfast items. we all enjoyed our food very much. one of our party has a gluten intolerance and our only complaining was that they only offer their gluten-free rolls at certain times, so he could not order them. I felt that this place was a little expensive and I didn't like how close the tables were together to hardly go a room.
One of the better restaurants I visited in nashville. the waiter was very informative and timely. oysters appetizer were great. I met the manager who told me that his wife had a hot donut dessert that we order and was great. the steak was very tasty, only the weight was my was cooked medium instead of medium rare. good experience overall.
As a relatiw new Nashville resident I had heard the names of this place and I was pretty sure that I heard it was good, but otherwise had no idea what was going on with urban scrub. we were interested in eating on the 12 south last night and my mother saw the menu online thought it looked at attraction, so we went for it. eating was exquisite! I had the garnel and grits that were great, but the real star of the evening was the carbonara pasta mom ordered. that is changing. we also appreciate the kekse and cheddar popover brought out with our meal - mom liked the popover with the marmelade and I enjoyed the cookies. I will say, however, that the calysalate we started with has not impressed me....read more
This is probably the best restaurant we have in nashville gedint, I can't expect to return at our next visit. the rustic decor with the beautiful flow of openness with seating inside and outside is very welcoming. great appetizers along with the charcuterie that had accompanied delicious meat with cheese selection. our treacherous of lobster casses together with shrimps were beautiful. desserts were disappointing, so it is not worth dining the pleasure of such a place with such a quality of the food and that they do not offer cappuccino and espresso after dinner was a little shocking. the waiter had a good personality and was very informatiw with the menu.
We ate brunch here last Sunday...absolutely awesome!! The buffet was fresh and beautiful. **** Mary Shrimp was spicy, the Oysters were fresh...just beautiful!
