Union Common - Nashville

Two friends celebrating my birthday. We were disappointed!!! Not what we expected. We ordered the Caesar salad with fried oysters. The lettuce was chopped and dull. Salad dressing was lack luster, the oysters tasted like a ball of burnt cornmeal. We exchanged the salad for Rueben sandwiches and fries. The fries were excellent, but the sandwiches were disappointing. Charred bread with dull dressing and cheese. I can not recommend this restaurant!

Service was terrible friend meal came out after we were done then the only thing the manager said was he would take friends meal off bill ...funny because he never touched it and sent it back as soon as waiter brought it out. I have eaten any lot of fine dining restaurants and never had such a bad experience!

Decided to sit at the bar. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Food was great. Loved the bourbon selection.

We were warmly greeted and served by a nice young man. The appetizers were good especially the lobster sliders. The mains were good but not inspired. The gnocchi were not very fluffy but the filet was good. The duck fat fries was a generous helping (like, enough for 3) and were very good. All in all, good but a little pricey for what you get.

Had some one come up to me and multiple other tables asking for money. Not ideal.
