We absolutely adore this restaurant! The staff is extremely friendly and inviting, and the food and coffee are fantastic. I highly recommend trying the Holy Ghost special latte, which is one of the employee's signature creations! It's definitely one of the best brunch spots in Nashville, and I can't recommend it enough. What Dee Matthews doesn't like about The Cookery Nashville:
I've passed this place hundreds of times so I decided to try it. I originally went in because I saw they had baked potatoes, but once I arrived they said they didn't have them. I ordered the Joan hogie sandwich with chips. I give it a 3 out of 5. It tasted ok but nothing to brag about or want to come back for. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was very laid back and homey. They have a prayer board... View all feedback.
I was impressed, food is authentic , tasty. Love what they are doing overall.Great job to the Chef and the whole Culinary Team.Definitely coming back!Food: 4/5
I was a little thrown off when I came for a dine-in experience and it wasn’t a traditional one. Grabbed our own menus, grabbed our own water, then ordered off the breakfast AND lunch menu. Then holy smokes… the food was on point! I got the chicken salad sandwich and it was all I hoped it’d be. Husband got the curry chicken pie and YUM! We split a chocolate chip pancake and it was like the best desert… it was a fluffy, yet dense, delicious pancake! Hold off on any judgements until the food gets to you, folks. It’s worth it!
My roommate used to rave about this place but I never made it. I moved away and moved back and a friend recommended it for brunch. Not the typical brunch spot but knowing how my old roommate talked about it, we gave it a go!We were not disappointed! My friend got a breakfast bowl and was easily able to modify it per her dietary requirements. She loved it. I got a butter pecan pancake glad I just got one, they are huge! Over an inch thick. I also got the hash with potatoes, onions, and bacon. It was super light, not greasy at all! This is my new go to brunch spot!
Lovely little place for breakfast or lunch. We enjoyed trying a couple of the Australian dishes (the meat pie for me and the sausage roll for him). We liked knowing the mission of The Cookery is helping the homeless with jobs, food and care.Food: 5/5
I don't usually do reviews, but the food and service here was amazing! I highly recommend the Aussie Avo Smash. Also the cinnamon rolls are the best I have had!
