The food here is amazing and the staff is super nice and helpful. They helped me order and made sure I got the spice level I wanted and even suggested new things to try after I told them what I've had before. I've only had Indian food maybe 3 times so I asked for new things to try. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is great. It's like a fast food restaurant but for Indian food and that was cool to me. What Chitra Solomon doesn't like about Surati Street Food:
Friendly service with smiles. Restroom was clean Prices were reasonable. Madras coffee was great ???? Plain dosai was good Rava dosa was large Dahi puri chaat was good too. Didn?t try other items yet View all feedback.
Loved this place. Tried 3 Indian restaurants in Nashville Chauhan, Sindoore and this. This was the best in taste and in terms of prices. All items were coming out faster than usual. There seemed to be a lot of local regulars and the place was packed.Loved 3 out of 4 items. Tried dahi puri, chinese bhel, pav bhaji and chhola bhatura. Everything was great except pav bhaji. Will repeat next time I am here.Parking: Parking is tricky due to the location. Could park at Patel brothers next door if needed
Ordered two sugarcane juices this afternoon. What I received was two glasses of water with a hint of sugarcane. Went back and informed about it. The guy with a pony tail shows his finger and says do you want a refund? Who speaks like this with a customer. I mean a simple acknowledgement of a mistake (hope my assumption is correct) would have been well received. I’ve always felt an arrogance with the guy but I always neglect it just because it is the only pure veg restaurant in town (except woodlands). No more!Btw, just check the opacity of the juice in the picture and also cheap tactics where they poured the juice in the outer glass as opposed to inner essentially giving an illusion of full glass.
I don't know what I was expecting, but it was way better.Three of us got together for lunch it sounds like a joke a carnivore, a vegetarian, and a vegan. All of us walked out raving about how amazing the food was.The vegan got the Szechuan dish, to which I was skeptical who orders Chinese food in an Indian restaurant? But the Indo Chinese dish was Incredible, with both the Chinese and the Indian flavors shining through. This is a can't miss on Nolensville Road
This restaurant offers an excellent array of vegetarian dishes and is a treat to the eyes and soul. I?m not an expert at Gujarati food, but it tasted great, and what tasted even better were the chats. The South Indian dishes, although they looked great, were sub-par, and I say coming from the South Indian region. We appreciated their homely hospitality when dining. Patel Brothers being right across to it is a plus. I recommend this place.
Amazing place! Food is delicious.. wonderful service and lovely people.. we ordered mysore masala dosa, pav bhaji, chole bature, surati vegetable sandwiches, vegetable manchurian and honestly have never tasted this much much better taste of food in USA till now? Highly recommended? love it ??????
