Red Perch - Nashville

I’m so glad that Red Perch decided to open in Nashville! The food is excellent, and their daily craft cocktail is delightful. Both meals my partner and I had recently were truly unforgettable. Be sure not to miss the salt cod fritters and the clam chowder when they're available on the menu. The entire experience was fantastic! This is definitely one of the best seafood spots we've tried, especially compared to our recent visits to The Optimist and Henrietta Red. You can enjoy a great meal for under $20 here. We ended up ordering a lot more dishes, and it was definitely worth it!

Delicious! We visited on a Saturday around 4 PM and enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere, with only a few other diners in the cozy restaurant. After ordering at the counter, our food arrived quickly and steaming hot. I had the fish fillet sandwich, which took a classic and gave it a delightful, elevated twist that reminded me of the original. My only minor critique is that I would have preferred the rabbit to be roasted. I opted for the Caesar salad instead of fries, and it featured a distinct take with bread crumbs. My partner ordered the fish and chips, which were perfectly fluffy and paired with traditional fries. We also loved the house-made tartar sauce. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we definitely plan to return!

Other Google reviews convinced me that I had to try the poke here. I really enjoyed the salmon poke, and my boyfriend loved the ahi poke bowl. The salmon was incredibly creamy and delicious. I sampled his dish, and the marinade on the tuna was absolutely fantastic. We'll definitely be coming back to explore more items on the menu. Update: On our return visit, we ordered the fish sandwich and the fish and chips. Both were excellent!

I ordered the filet sandwich and it was really delicious! It was perfectly seasoned and the fries were really crunch and soft in the middle. I also ordered an apple soda which was a little pricey for a soda but it was delicious nonetheless. I’ve never had apple soda before so it was definitely worth it. Everyone was very nice and attentive. I dined in and it felt like I was in a different city and I loved it. I would definitely bring my friends who enjoy seafood! They also had chicken tacos that I will try next time. Side note: I was told to try the “chippy” seasoning on my sandwich and fries and it was DELICIOUS 10/10!

It is an absolute blessing having the Red Perch family in West Nashville now. Our first time at the new location it was difficult to leave something off the order so we got one of everything. It was absolutely phenomenal and perfect to share tapas style with friends from the full fish all the way down to lumpia and sardines. Since the opening, having nights like wine down Wednesdays, special days like Lola’s birthday, or whatever Cam might wake up wanting to make: There’s a certain freshness every time you visit with the option to order all of the staples and take your tastebuds on a new adventure. If you’re just visiting for the weekend or a long time local put it on your list for great food and service here in Nashville!
