Ooh Wee -b-q - Nashville

The tips were tender, and the collards had a spicy kick that I really enjoyed. The beans were good, and the fried okra was delightful. The fruit tea was very refreshing as well. However, I was disappointed with the store-bought potato salad.

The okra was delicious, but the fish definitely wasn't catfish.

The half slab of ribs was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth. Unfortunately, the chicken was rubbery and disappointing.

Ooh Wee Bar-B-Q is an outstanding Black-owned business! Everything on the menu is top-notch! I’m originally from Chicago but have been living in Nashville for a while now. Despite being a bit picky about my baked macaroni and cheese and catfish—it's just a Northern thing, haha—I must say this restaurant serves the best catfish in all of Nashville! It is absolutely delicious, with large fillets and an unmatched flavor. I’ve tried many fish and seafood places in Nashville, but this one is truly exceptional! The baked macaroni and cheese transports me back to my roots. Thank you so much for this amazing experience! I can't wait to come back, even though I just left!

Someone mentioned that they have the best turkey legs around, but I have to disagree. These are the BEST turkey legs in the world, and I've traveled all over! They’re always in stock, so make sure to go try them! Food rating: 5/5.
