Old Hickory Steakhouse - Nashville

Not bad, but for $100+/person I expected a little more creativity, flavor, and ambiance. The outdoor seating made the experience considerably less fancy. The service didn’t have an upscale feel. The signature cocktails lacked some serious presentation. Steaks were cooked right on the money but were heavily under seasoned. Asparagus was also cooked to perfection. Baked potato had an overpowering and unappealing smoky flavor.

Our service was so wonderful!!! We sat at the bar for some drinks w friends and the young lady did a phenomenal job!!! The food was so so so good!!! The lobster bisque just wow!!! As well as the bread!!!! It is really loud in the bar area with 30 people. But we had a great time.

We had an 80th birthday celebration for my husband with 10 people and our meal and the whole experience was wonderful. Our server Tony and the whole team were the best and answered all of our grandchildren's questions. We had gluten free, dairy free and other needs and they met them all perfectly. We did get a reservation about 60 days in advance and I am so glad we did. I highly recommend this restaurant and will go back again.

Greeted by a very welcoming hosted. Waited in the bar while our table to be prepared. The bar area was very relaxing with excellent cocktail specials. The waiter was exceptionally helpful with meal requests and friendly. The food itself was very good with appropriate portions. Only issue was a slow kitchen. But definitely worth it.

Our initial wait to be greeted once seated was a bit longer than preferred for a fine dining experience however, once our Waiter made his introduction, it was a perfect dining experience. I was overly pleased with their ability to get my steak just right. I ordered the Cowboy Ribye, 22oz, and asked that it not only be cooked warm-pink Mid Rare, but I also asked that it have a solid seared crust. They got it Perfect! My date ordered the 7oz Filet and it too was cooked perfectly Medium Rare. The side dishes were sharable and delicious! If you stay at the resort, you get a complimentary desert as well! 10/10 would go back for seconds!
