Nelson's Green Brier Distillery

Meh. Staff wasn't all that friendly and didn't take any time to talk to us about their product. Whiskey was ok. Not the best experience but a beautiful building with A/C....kitchen wasn't open when we were there but lots of seating so maybe good for that.

Darrin was absolutely phenomenal on our tour and tasting here! The history is very rich at this distillery, and the spirits were delicious! We also got to meet Spencer, and he was awesome. 10/10 would absolutely recommend touring and tasting and eating here! We also had lunch here and the dishes were absolutely FABULOUS and very filling! ? We can’t wait to be back!

This was an amazing visit to learn about our hometown distilleries history. It’s a beautifully transformed space. Although the operation wasn’t going on Saturday, Darrin gave us a fantastically informative tour of the operation. The food and drinks were amazing!!! We had deviled eggs, the burger, tacos and mushrooms. Loved the Blackbrier and the recent Cask Strength release.

This is among the very best distillery tours I ever took (and I do a lot of them). Chris was my tour guide and tasting shaman, and he's a terrific storyteller. I'm utterly thrilled to have had this experience!

Upon walking into the distillery you will be welcomed by very friendly staff. The entire place is super clean, and everything is brand new. The restaurant was closed so i wasn’t able to partake in that part but was very impressed with the overall layout. The tour guide was incredibly passionate about the history of GreenBrier and made the experience fun and informative. Would recommend if your in the area stopping in to this place and do the tour.
