Delicious BBQ, well worth the wait. My jacket still smells of the finest smoked meats...I contemplated eating it for breakfast. The ribs were very good with the right amount of dry rub. They are on Broadway in the thick of all the fun stuff in Nashville.Went with the meat plate,Smoked Chicken,ribs,sliced briskit.All had great flavor.They offer you sauces,may favorite was the Tennessee White the Carolina.Chess pie was very good! Upstairs seating too. View all feedback.
Best bar b q in the city. great atmosphere super. worker. the ribs should also die for and the gay! spacious room at the top for larger groups. many bar b q sauce. and employees are great!

Conveniently located on Broadway next to Tootsies, in front of Ryman Auditorium and across the street from Ernest Tubb's Record Shop, Jack's was one of our lunchtime picks during our visit to Nashville. In addition to its location, it's a Nashville original (and now more of a tourist attraction) that has been serving its version of bar-b-que since 1989. The first location was on Broadway at First Avenue, but that site is now a parking garage for the riverfront development. However, this new spot has the appearance of being filled with history and worn to the point of an old leather shoe. The pork was amazing. some of the best bbq in the usa. fun atmosphere too! there is often a line. many seats inside and outside. right at the ryman on broadway. affordable

Not realizing that there was a free New Year’s Eve concert in downtownNashville, we headed down to Broadway to grab some lunch. That explained the cordoned off streets and exorbitant parking (at noon). We found a paid lot next to the Ryman and walked down to Broadway in the drizzle. We turned the corner past Tootsie’s and as soon as we passed Robert’s Western World, we found ourselves standing at the end of the line waiting to go into Jack’s Bar-B-Que.
