Istanbul Restaurant - Nashville

Loves this place with a rich selection of Turkish cuisine. Chef is Mr. Mehmet, who makes good tastes. Home made soups and all order fresh cook is the best delicious part. Yesterday I had Kuzu Kebab with green salad and it is full plus in all meaning.

Delicious Mediterranean food about 15-20mins from Nashville Downtown.. Tried the Veggie Platter, Mediterranean Salad and the Falafel Sandwich.. Each of them tasted better than the other. Generous portion, reasonable price and good service. Happy Customer

Sad. Falafel had no herbs in it at all. Not even parsley. I've had falafel in several countries and across the USA, these were the worst. We came here because we were wanting baba ganoush and the website listed it. Were they out of tahini when they made it? It had little flavor, poor texture and olive oil. Out of Donor, and other Turkish staples. In short, will never go back. On the positive, the lentil soup was very good.

Nope. If you know true Döner, you can already tell just by looking at this photo that this ain’t it, not even close. Should be shaved like a gyro. My quest for Döner in the USA continues, but a word of advice to those who are also looking for good Döner, just say no to this place. It’s a hard nope. Nopedy nope nope.
