This place definitely lived up to the hype for me. Although the wait was long, it was absolutely worth it. I tried the hot wings, and they were perfect for my taste. The texture was amazing, and the meat was juicy. I was pleasantly surprised by the sauce, which wasn’t overpowering like typical buffalo wing sauce. I would have to say service was good but the chicken was too old fashioned. First of all, the chicken was plain salty. There was no delicate balance between hot, sweet, salty, and msg taste. I just visited recently and had a wonderful experience. Alexa was incredibly friendly and helpful! As I was enjoying my meal, I realized that every single time I've dined here, the food has always been vibrant and full of flavor. Every dish, even the sides, tastes like it was made fresh just for me! I'm particularly fond of the Dirty Bird fries. I used to be a big fan of Chick-fil-A, but that's changed since they altered their chicken recipe. Hattie B's truly prioritizes serving high-quality food along with excellent service!
If you plan to go for lunch, be ready to wait; it's very popular and can get quite busy.
I had a fantastic experience with the Nashville hot chicken and pimento mac at this location of Hattie B's. It's one of the more reliable spots in town. I usually opt for pick-up or carry-out. The service is excellent when I go inside, although the wait times for curbside pickup are often longer than expected. A nice perk of dining in is that they usually give out extra sauces with your order. One thing I appreciate about this Hattie B's is that they keep your sides separate from the usual to-go box when you order chicken strips or pieces. This is great because it minimizes the mess, especially when I'm craving chicken during a busy workday.

This location was the least busy of others I've been to. The food itself is just okay. I felt like it was overhyped for what you actually got. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich.
