hardh is a hidden gem in the nashville restaurants scene. If you have difficulty finding a table on short, they call here because most people have not yet discovered it. my favorite lunch is the kal salat with duck breast. the dining room is open and airy. it is the perfect place to have a business lunch because it is pretty easy to get in and out and the service is inconspicuous. My man and I wanted to be close on Saturday night somewhere. hardh was recommended to me by a colleague, so we thought we would try. I was intrigued because it is in the new hilton in green hills. a hotel restaurant? we had reservations for the dining room, but decided to sit on the bar instead. the bartender was very pleasant and attentive. we ordered mosquitoes and start the pork fillet appetizer (special). both were very good. for dinner I chose a Margherita pizza and my man had the crab and lobster risotto. again, both very, very good. a problem is the atmosphere. they felt like in a hotel lobby, and of course they are. but if they were only playing the lighter dimming and music, it would go away a very, very long one. I would return after the quality of our dinner.
Quite surprised how good it was and how good it was to gourmet. it is essentially open to the lobby of the hilton here, so my expectations after seeing were set low. I had served the pork medallion specialty with picked okra over an edifice and I must say it was delicious. it could be a bit more variety on the menu, but overall was very impressed by the presentation, service and overall environment. we will be back soon!

Food was delicious and presentation was elegant. Service was on spot. Pictures of dogs didn't do the ambiance justice. They need a different lobby door to keep the cold from gusting in. We will go back, but not when it is cold out.
We were very happy to find an upscale breakfast spot open on weekdays so close to home for an anniversary breakfast. Food was excellent and our server, a recent import from California, was super!
