This bar is located at the southern end of Nashville Illinois. It's a great place to get some original Mexican cuisine. I loved the food, I did think the price of beer was too high. View all feedback.
What Tony Evanoff doesn't like about El Indio:
Food was average. Jalisco had very little meat or cheese sauce. Carnitas were tender a little lacking in flavor. Chile torreados were well grilled and pretty hot. Salsa was mediocre at best. This small-town Mexican restaurant is incredible! The authentic Mexican cuisine is outstanding, and every aspect of this place is delightful.
This bar is situated at the southern end of Nashville, Illinois. It's a fantastic spot for enjoying authentic Mexican cuisine. I really loved the food; however, I did find the beer prices to be a bit steep.
The flavor was excellent. I just wish there had been more shrimp. I ordered the Camarones à la Diabla and opted to skip the rice and soft tortilla. It paired wonderfully with the salad and guacamole. I'm used to having 7oz portions of shrimp at home, and this was probably around 3 or 4oz, so I found myself wanting more to enjoy with the leftover sauce on my plate.
My daughter and I had the chicken fajitas for lunch. The meal was absolutely delicious, have been there before. But it’s turning into my favorite place to eat. Customer service is great and they are very polite.
Very good food. I got the chicken fajita daughter got a quesadilla. Friendly, fast and delicious.
