East Side Banh Mi - Nashville

Three of us ate here for lunch. Definately get the pork sandwich! The other 2 with me got bowls and they chowed down. Excellent in every category. Also if you like spicy try the red hot sause! They make it all right here!

I am here in Nashville visiting from Italy. I loved this place! Service was fast, food was incredible and the place displayed a very interesting menu!!Would definitely recommend this place :

Space was nice but not super inviting. The banh mi as they called it was an okay sandwich. The bread was too dense and hard and did not remind me of a french baguette, the fillings were okay but not well balanced.I think they hope you are happy with drowning it in the sauce that they provide. I have since read that it is part of some sort of restaurant group which may explain the atmosphere and lack of personality.

We arrived in Nashville around 11 a.m. and made this our first stop right after landing. I ordered the steak bahn mi, while my wife opted for Gracie's Big Salad. The bread is a crucial element of any bahn mi, and this sandwich had just the right amount of crunch. The steak was delicious, and each bite was perfectly complemented by the cucumber and carrot mix along with the mayo. My wife kept mentioning how she needed to try to recreate the salad when we got home. Inside, you place your order and then find a seat. The staff was incredibly friendly, and our food came out quickly. Even though we arrived just as they were opening, they were already busy handling dine-in and take-out orders. If you're a fan of bahn mi, you should definitely make a beeline for this place!

So fire. Went here twice on a four day trip. Ridiculously good and fresh.
