Donut Connection - Nashville

I'm originally from a southern WV city where Donut Connection is just as popular if not more than Dunkin Donuts. We live in Chattanooga these days and an almost 6 hours drive for Donuts is from the question, but a two and a half hour drive is beautiful. We're going through here at 4:00 and they still have every donut we ask. Not only that they were the sweetest people. We ordered three dozen donuts and the lady working window really woke us up. We first named a variety of 18 donuts and she didn't take a single note yet, was able to repeat what we wanted. We all said she can't do that anymore and wrote another order of 18 for my friends who came. We got our donuts pretty fast, and most of them were fresh also I think. The cook offered us free coffee and the lady who worked the window made it for us with cream and sugar and it was so good. What a great reception in the hospitality of the city. I don't know when we'll be back, but we'll definitely be back by some time and recommend all the Travlers to add this Donut shop to your trip because it's worth it.

It was late a day so that the selection was limited. But the donuts were delicious!

They only have the drive thru option, which sucked as a person who likes to look at my donut options, but then she made my donut toppings fresh when I ordered, so i suppose it was ok. Friendly cashier and under $3 for 2 donuts is unheard of these days.

Donut Connection not only has red velvet and a variety of other donuts, spice induced and otherwise, but this is a great place to buy Philly steak on freshly baked croissant. The kicker is that, when requested, they use hot jalapeño peppers, tomatoes and onion!! I don’t always eat meat based food, so on my meat days, I drive straight their drive-thru. I just forget to take a pic before I start eating…lol
