Cole's Kitchen - Nashville

Our meal was outstanding, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. We began with the beet and brittle salad, which was unique and delightful, especially with the goat cheese and mustard vinaigrette. Next, we enjoyed the salmon, cooked to perfection and absolutely melt-in-your-mouth delicious. We finished off with a slice of the always fabulous Leland Rigan’s Hallelujah cake. I was pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived; we typically spend almost twice as much for an evening out. We will definitely keep this place on our list!

The server was not friendly; he appeared to be the only staff member working that evening. He sighed as he attended to the few tables present, and the space was quite small.

It was a decent experience. The food was good and served warm, just as we ordered. However, when we got home, I noticed that the shrimp and grits were lacking; there was about half a cup of grits. There were plenty of shrimp and a great sauce, but there just wasn’t enough of the grits.

Best salmon anywhere. My favorite local restaurant.

Everyone enjoyed their entrees! Drinks were great. Service excellent. Ambiance pretty stark and packed in with not a lot to look at, but we enjoyed being together. Hard to hear each other but we made it work. Thank you!
