What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about Char:
Unfortunately I found a hair in my god. So sad, first time that’s ever happened to me. I just feel at upscale places that’s the last thing you should need to worry about. Make the women wear there hair in a bun. Especially the folks in the kitchen. Also, they made me pay for my meal. lol that made me laugh. My hair is black, the Hair in my food was blonde. We decided to sit at the bar for our reservation of 8:30. it was elegant, clubby had an impressive whisky choice. there were a group of business brothers behind us who were for a because loud and harmful, but complained were made manifestly, and they were asked to go. after that everything was good. my daughter and I share crawling claws, a Caesar salad and the main strip. the claws were embroidered in a spicy, garlicky sauce and not disappointed. the salat was a bit of mouth for this skala of a restaurant, but it was delicious. the main strip was massive (16 oz) and much big enough to share. it was cooked to the right (charred medium rare) and super delicate. although we share it, it was enough that my daughter came home. I had a slightly dirty martini to begin with blue cheese olive, that was one of the best I had. we enjoyed a nice Napa cabin with dinner and my daughter had an espresso martini for after, while I was siping a fine American whisky. beautifully done.
Another great meal had by all, we will be back again!
Our server was Jessie. She was wonderful. Really added to our experience in a positive way.
The 30-day wet-aged steak was exceptional, with the tenderest texture and delicious taste. Our experienced server, Angie, was also excellent, with enthusiasm for and knowledge about every menu item and attention to our needs. We hope to get back to Char!
