Captain D's Seafood Kitchen - Nashville

I ordered the wild Alaskan salmon, and I was quite disappointed. The fries and fried okra were significantly undercooked, as was the rice. The salmon was severely overcooked and truly inedible. I felt like I wasted my money on this meal.

The 10 piece family meal was extremely dry. The fish was tough and dry. It did not taste like it was cooked in fresh oil. the breadsticks tasted old. The hushpuppies were spongy. The fries were mostly black and brown and soggy with no flavor. Threw away entire meal and staff at restaurant didnt answer the phone.

The fish and hush puppies are consistently outstanding. However, the fries were soggy and lacked flavor.

I have always loved Captain D, but unfortunately, I was disappointed during my visit tonight. My delivery driver was excellent, but the fish, shrimp, fries, and hush puppies I received were old and cold. The baked potato, however, was hot. The rest of the food was so cold that it was chewy instead of crunchy. I’m giving it a rating of 3 because I believe this was an exception and hope it's not the usual experience.
