I used to love this restaurant before the pandemic. We had made reservations through Open Table but were told upon arrival that they do not actually accept reservations. We decided to seat ourselves without any issues, so it wasn't a big deal, just a slight hiccup in the system. Due to Covid, they have a limited menu which is still good, but if you have been here before, you will miss some of their usual dishes like... View all feedback.
What Annette Stamm doesn't like about Bavarian Bierhaus:
Very disappointing. Music was so loud we had to go outside. Food service was very slow no drink refills. Food arrived minutes before the silverware so it was cold by the time we could eat it. Limited menu. Won't be going back. View all feedback.
My family and I went to opry mills and decided to go to Bavarian beerhouse to eat before they go. we had a great experience in 2018, so we thought it was a good place to eat because we had not eaten there in 4 years. we were very wrong to think it would be a good place to eat. While it was really terrible, I guess not to take it as it is all the time as we work on a busy day with a smaller number of employees than usual there. we decided to buy some chocolate and cookies from the souvenir shop in the front. little we knew the chocolate and cookies would be the best part to go there. we sat down and waited for our food to arrive and expected it to taste just as good as it had 4 years ago. after all, it actually happened. we ordered 4 dishes, 1 for each member and a pulpit. I ordered her German mac and cheese and it was terrible. first the top had those fried bits that were a secret. we couldn't say if they were swirling or kartoffeling or what else could be done in them. the huh that it came with had different levels of cooking put at different places, some were understated. it looked out and tasted as if it was heated again. the makkaroni itself was the only good part of it. one of us ordered a gurkensalat. it was absolutely terrible in my personal opinion. even our waiter seemed to be beating that we should not get it, especially by saying that it would taste better with (insert item) it was really dry for us, and the neighboring party said their had too much dressing and/or sauce. another one of us ordered the currywurst and it was also terrible for reasons I unfortunately forgot when I wrote this review, a whole day after. the pulpit had only a good quality for them and that was the beer cheese. the sprinkled itself tasted even worse than kroger brand bretzels that they can get for $1. the best dish we got at our table was the reuben sandwich, and although it was the best, it was still not great. we had a court that I can't even remember the names or find on the menu, and it was like the others (except the reuben) terrible. I think it was the lachsfilet, but I'm guessing right now. Anyway, the person in our party who ordered it has become sick, not long before we decided we wanted to go. the person she then ordered went on to go and (their words, possibly exaggerated) And/or recovers the baggage! the bill was incredibly high for such high quality food. even after a good piece of the item removed, it still costs $84 to $89. a person I think as a writer was not very polite. one of the members of our party actually works in the food and hospitality industry spoke to the manager instead of trying to find a solution from the information I have the manager, instead of sending them. they came later and asked us if we wanted to crates for our food. we haven't let down too long. there was a woman in the party next to us who was literally from Germany and even she absolutely hated eating. overall this could be due to a busy day without the usual number of workers, but I would recommend being careful when you go to the Bavarian beer house.
For three years in Germany. looks like they were there. eating was good, but nothing spectacular. service was excellent, a young man from Armenia. that must be a vacation that forgets the budget and once go to a place. let me assure you, this retired tennessee college administrator can't get the prices in our budget. I thought it was awfully overpriced. lunch bill was more than we usually spend in a beautiful restaurant for dinner to a special occasion. this will be a unique experience.
My daughter and I don't get many places to meet lunch, so if we do, we always want it in a pleasant restaurant, with good eating and an untreated dining area, so we can talk and enjoy our meal. Today we ate for the first time in the Bavarian beirhaus. what a beautiful place, with a lot of space, fast and friendly service, interesting staff who actually wanted to help, and a menu with more than enough choice! we really enjoyed it and we will definitely be back! ps- the prices are fair, for the quality and quantity of food! oh, and don't forget to try the German pulp!
We were so excited that our family members are proficient for a German night. now, we got the German food (excellent meal,) we got the German atmosphere (big tables and large hall,) service was great, and then the missing glamour music came. I think they only played three German songs and one because we demanded it. we were looking for all the German experience and got only one part of it. they would do so much better if they had someone playing German music and polkas and cheers. I don't think we're back.
The food was good with live music and dancing. The beer on tap was also great! Would definitely eat here again.
