Never had heard about this place before my trip to Nashville and I really liked it! They have a nice selection of coffee, teas and treats. I had the Jasmine tea and once it was cool enough to drink I enjoyed every second of it! I added a hint of agave and it was perfect for the chilly fall day. There were also many people studying so looks like a good spot to hit the books! View all feedback.
What Christina Kelly doesn't like about Barista Parlor Marathon Village:
Ew. Worst coffee I’ve ever had. Tasted like burned dishwater. I spent $4 on it and it went right in the trash can. Avoid any coffee from this “coffee” place. View all feedback.
Pros--good coffee, friendly service, amazing historical building with other cool shops 19th century car factory , well-lit, and good wi-fi.Cons--very expensive $3/8 oz. drip coffee--yikes! ; cashless. As someone who is strongly opposed to a cashless society and who is using cash more and more after being the victim of fraud several times, the cashless thing is a deal breaker for me. I enjoyed my visit but won't be back for this reason.

Really love this place but the hours listed online are not correct. We've gone to this shop numerous times just to see that they are closed.
Made a quick stop while shopping at marathon village for a coffee and it was pretty good. They have a smaller menu to choose from but have some unique offerings that sounded pretty good. In addition to drinks, they also had some cookies and breakfast pastries to choose from. Overall not a bad spot for a quick coffee break while on the go. They also have a couple of tables if you need to sit and relax for a bit!
Solid coffee, solid people, solid location. Good stuff all around.
