Uncle Bud's Catfish Shack

The hush puppies looked a little different from what I'm used to, but they were delicious. The beans were excellent as well. While the claws and cucumbers were good, I opted not to try the raw onion. Now, here's the highlight: I noticed that they have a catfish logo and mention catfish prominently on their website, which seems to be a signature dish. However, I decided to take a chance and ordered the gator instead. I’m thrilled I did because this was the best gator I've had outside of Louisiana. If you’ve never tried gator before, you won’t regret it here; they’ve set quite a high standard. I also had the fried okra, which was decent. Unfortunately, I was so full (my belt was definitely feeling it) that I didn't get to try any desserts, which I regret. If I lived closer, I would definitely make this place a regular spot!

Try the Gator! It's absolutely fantastic! The catfish fillets are also very tasty. The fried okra makes for a wonderful side, though it could benefit from a bit more seasoning. You're not visiting Uncle Bud's for health food—go to Pig for that!

I fought with a family with high expectations for Uncle Bud tonight, as I had heard they were serving the best catfish in Nashville. Well, Uncle Buds, you've exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was fantastic! Would recommend thank you for the fabulous meal.

We came to this place and thought it was bar b que place. It was always better. Amazing food. Our server Sherrell was so entertaining and creepy.. She made the dinning experience there so much fun and staff was also amazing.. This attitude I like to see and you just won two tribe members. It's just Sherrell's section. Lmao

When I go to Nashville my favorite place to eat of all time is Uncle Buds! The food is supreme and so is the service and the price is right. Uncle Buds can't be beat . And they have the best tea ever to go by the gallon
