Everything from start to finish at Surf is fine dining with amazing service. Julianna was our server last night and she friendly and speedy even with the extra walk to the outside dining due to Covid-19. There were no short cuts taken and everyone was wearing a very safe mask, we felt safe.The oysters and scalops were so fresh and delicious. Wicked tuna sushi was outstanding. Lobster Kristina was one of the best tasting entrees we've ever eaten

I dined at Michael Timothy's last night and had the pleasure of enjoying the natural and miso tuna special with garlic carrots. It was absolutely to die for! Please make this delicious dish again!

Julianna was our server last night, and she was both friendly and efficient, even with the extra distance for outdoor dining due to COVID-19. There were no shortcuts taken, and everyone wore their masks properly, which made us feel safe. The oysters and scallops were incredibly fresh and flavorful. The wicked tuna sushi was outstanding. The Lobster Kristina was one of the best dishes we've ever had.

The service was outstanding, with no long wait times at all.

I absolutely adore the Portsmouth location! The bartender, Maggie, and the food are both exceptional! However, I find it quite disappointing that management keeps the bright lights turned up to full brightness. It creates more of a diner atmosphere rather than the intimate vibe you'd expect from one of the best and “sexiest” restaurants in Portsmouth. While I will definitely keep coming back, I might struggle to recommend it to friends looking for a cozy dining experience.
