I have been visiting Deolali practically every single year and for us, a must visit restaurant every single time is Gazebo. Before this particular visit, I have visited Gazebo numerous times, for lunch or dinner or just a snack! This time we went at an odd hour between lunch and dinner - the whole place was empty! They have a very pretty outdoor seating that is all lit up at night. Winter time meals here are amazing - good food and great weather! This time the place looked a little lack lustre and drab, also slightly messy and unkempt. Maybe it was the lack of people, or just lack of some maintainence! Anyhow, we ordered: Masala Papad Masala Dosa Sada Dosa Veg. Biryani (Jain) Veg. Biryani (Regular) Dal Makhani Hum jahaan, Papad wahan! If we didn't start our meal with a Masala Papad, it wouldn't be our family eating! Sev topped papad is like a bonus for us! We moved onto something light - Dosas! The sambhar and chutney were pretty damn good, as were the Dosas. But I preferred the Sada Dosa over the Masala Dosa. Main course feels were a little more authentic desi - which is why we ordered 2 Biryani's with Dal Makhani! The Pot Biryani looked absolutely delicious when served, as did the Dal Makhani and Raita. Well flavoured, steaming hot Biryani, topped with authentic Black Dal and a spoonful of cold Raita, with Papad at the side! My mouth is watering just thinking about this meal! Definitely a must have combination! Food - 4/5 Ambience - 3/5 Service - 3/5 As far as I remember, I have always left Gazebo feeling super happy and super stuffed! This time was no different! The food was great, although their staff comes across as slightly snooty and very slow (somehow that doesn't affect service much). But this can be easily overlooked because their food is worthy of every penny. If you're in the Deolali area and want some really nice Indian food, definitely drop by at Gazebo. If you want to see the epitome of arrogant and unworthy customer service I recommend this place to you. Be the good food, but I feel like it tastes better with the feel and attitude with which it is served. For the employees, people who are in the service sector and who are expected to treat your customers, whoever it is, with the best hospitality you can offer.

My father is very old and they all helped my father with stairs etc. So that made experience good. On food front, we had cream of tomato soup, hara bhara kebab, peas pulao and, dal Kolhapuri. Full marks to the kebabs and dal. Soup was slightly salty hence cutting one star. If I visit Deolali again, I will have my lunch here again. They should add a bit more things to menu. Overall a great experience.

They kept c... read more Just the worst experience i ever had in my life. After waiting for half an hour still no one comes to take our order even after calling 20-30 times. They kept cancelling our order. For like an hour we didn't receive our food. The ambience is not expensive. The staff is too less. The food is not amazing either. Just pathetic. And it's not like we went in busy hours there were hardly 3-4 tables. And not just us others didn't get their order too. They gave us the wrong order too. I just can't describe how pathetic the experience was. Don't visit here.
