As I walked past the sign for Masquerade Mandat, I overheard a man and a woman shouting profanities at each other. It turns out that two employees in the kitchen were using extreme language, even referring to us with derogatory terms. They were wearing masks, but their disrespectful conversation about the food they were preparing was quite evident. To make matters worse, there was a child present who had to listen to this appalling conversation. After witnessing this, I decided that not even a cup of coffee from this establishment was worth the risk of encountering something potentially worse in my drink or meal. I wish the restaurant better luck in the future.

Earl, the owne... read more This restaurant, known as Johnson's by locals, recently received a perfect score of 1.000 in my review, the only perfect score I have ever given. Earl, the owner, is a mastermind and truly exceptional. Johnson's sets a great example of how to run a successful business. Their hot food branding is top-notch. Although they had some weaknesses, they were actively working to improve them. Like most places, Johnson's also has its challenges, including one named Jenny...
