La Madeleine French Bakery Cafe Overton Park

This place is near my office and within walking distance. A coworker and I have been walking here for lunch pretty regularly and have never left disappointed. The food is always fantastic and so is the service. To my surprise, this place is never all that crowded and I've never had to wait in line for more than a few minutes.

La Madeline's is the next best thing when you don't have access to a local bakery to walk to. I appreciate being able to pick up a chai latte and pastry on Sundays when I feel like walking there, but I wouldn't plan an entire day around a meal here. Food is consistently good and service is consistently ok too. (I occasionally get very friendly staff. Nothing too special, and higher prices than what you'd expect to pay, but still good. I'm typically more of a fan of authentic environments in contrast to any chain restaurant's manufactured aesthetics, but if there's anything you can count on here, it's a decent meal in a nice environment!

Delicious as always, but I'm sad they haven't brought back the self-serve bread station yet.

My husband and I have been visited this place for 10 years now, now with our kids, food always good, you should try caramel creme brulee as dessert, their coffee always fresh but I missed those days befor CoVid when they had a self serving bread tray, I hope someday they put it back

Great service and good every time we visit. We love getting to sit by the fire. This is our go-to when we’re in town.
