Just a small humble Mexican food place. Plenty of seating. Furniture looks to be all custom and very detailed. Always something interesting to see while you enjoy delicious food. I had the traditional enchiladas dinner. It came with three enchiladas which the server suggested having one of each variety. My favorite was the chicken with the queso sauce. Did not disappoint! What Laura Perkins doesn't like about El Tequilas Mexican:
At one point and time, this place was wonderful. This last trip, was my last trip. We were seated all the way in the back close by the window ac unit. It was dark and gross. Walls had food smeared all over and just eww.? our waitress was not that good at customer service. ? View all feedback.
El Tequilas is a cozy spot with a lively atmosphere, though it can get a bit loud for its size. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but I'd caution against paying large bills unless you're prepared for potential inconvenience, as they aren't prepared for that. The food was good overall, but nothing particularly wowed me for the $50 bill. The fajitas had good flavor, but I didn't find myself craving more. The corn tortillas weren't fresh. The pico de gallo seemed like an afterthought, with chunky tomatoes and unchopped cilantro, lacking the vibrant flavors of lime and salt that I expected. The margarita was decent, though a top-shelf price should promise something more exquisite for a nearly $14 premium, but you can get them togo.Despite its name, the tequila selection was somewhat limited, which was surprising. Also, having Pepsi instead of Coke was a downside for me. On the positive side, the rice was tasty, and the guacamole tasted fresh. While I wouldn't mind returning to El Tequilas because the staff I experienced were pleasant, I found that the overall experience didn't quite match the higher prices. A solid option but not one that left a lasting impression for its value.

Love the food, but the service is a little slow. Totally worth it though!
The food is delicious though the serving may be small, the refried beans a bit darker rice. It all was edible and tasty, the hostess, waistress; real friendly.
