Nothing to complain about the food or service, except that the grated truffle was a little overpriced.
Very friendly and attentive waiter, but unfriendly lead person (chef??? . The food is very delicious, but the portions are quite small, especially if you don't order a set menu!
This is the restaurant of the Viberti family, who also own the eponymous winery. The food is excellent; all the dishes we tried were well-executed and made with top-quality ingredients. Everything is paired with their excellent wines. A wonderful experience, I'll do it again and I highly recommend it.
A Timeless Gem in Barolo – Even Better Than I Remember I returned to Buon Padre in Vergne after first visiting in 1998 during a wine-tasting trip with friends to Viberti — and it was just as memorable as all those years ago. The restaurant remains a small, stylish, and truly classic place, with an atmosphere that reflects the very best of Piedmont. The wines from their own Viberti winery are of exceptional class — among the finest in the region — and pair beautifully with the meal. We enjoyed an evening of authentic, traditional Piemontese cuisine, each dish prepared with care and depth of flavor. The staff were extremely friendly, warm, and helpful, making us feel genuinely welcomed — a level of hospitality that is hard to find. A wonderful experience in every way. A must-visit when in Barolo.
