O... read more Have to say at first we thought oh no not sure about this place. Well then we wanted the Salmon but it was after 7 pm on a Thur night and they where sold out. Ok then we were not for sure , We?ll let me just say 2 got the chicken and love it. The other 2of us decided then we would try the steak, let me say that probably was the best steak I have ever eaten. The pepper crust wasout of this world. The spicy margarita was so good. Seriously make a reservation because if not you may not get in..

The flavor was poor and not what I expected at all. When I told the waiter (who's name I can't remember) about my steak, they began to defend thesteak by saying that's what I ordered and that's what medium rare looks like. (It was more medium well well done) to top offthe steak, the shallots were a bit bland.. which wasn't a huge deal but to lead off that, my fries seemed undercooked aswell. (Iordered specifically for them to be crunchy) so to the drinks, I always stick with the beers which were fantastic. Though Idon't really know how anyone could mess up a beer. My fiance gets her fancy drinks and asked for the sweetest one she could get,and don't ask me the name of the drink either. Her drink came to her, and she sent the drink back and asked for another one.When said drink came back she was 100% convinced they brought the same drink back, so we left it at that. I went to therestroom, and a worker had come in after me and quickly does his business and hadn't washed his hands before returning back tothe restaurant which is absolutely absurd to me!! Me, my fiance, and any of my friends who ask about this place surely won't bereturning.

It?s one of my favorite restaurants and the staff is always friendly. The restaurant is clean and the inside has a very nice interior design and a coolvibe. Outside the views from the deck are amazing especially in the evenings. I no longer drink alcohol so I can?t say muchabout the drinks, but I can say that they always bring in really interesting non-alcoholic options. Not a lot of restaurants inthe area do this. I have never had a bad meal here either dining in or takeout. My favorite items are the chicken liver moose,crispy eggs, mac cheese, chopped salad and they always have great soup options. Definitely give The Heron a try and you won?tbe disappointed!
