My wife chose the set 3 courses for €17 and I ordered... read more Got to say, I felt particularly underwhelmed by our visit. My wife and I nipped in for an impromptu lunch. My wife chose the set 3 courses for €17 and I ordered just a main of confit de canard at €18. The prices seemed good. The location and weather were ideal. Our waiter was as unhelpful and surly as the finest Parisien example of the profession. He started by making ordering our meals an ordeal. After an extended period, he then delivered another table’s lunches to us. Finally, he delivered the unwanted food to the correct table and brought us our food, as requested. We asked for some vinegar to go with the food and he nodded curtly. He never came back and I went and sourced the vinegar myself. I honestly believe he is in the wrong profession. Perhaps fishing or swimming or something else that doesn’t require human interaction. Finally, my wife asked for the bill and he barked “Inside!” as the response. Bottom line: the food was ok but the service was appalling.
