After trying to find a restaurant in Narbonne at clock in the evening, that served warm food. Witch was imposible. We where lucky to find this place. A very short walk from Les Halles and close to the canal de la Robine le Bouchon has outside seating. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the menu extensive too. We opted for he menu du jour and started with a tasty salad...followed by the roast pork. Portion size was good and everything was cooked to perfection. I substituted dessert for coffee. The restaurant is close to the center of narbonne and facing the Canal du midi. We were very well received by very attentive staff. everything seems to have been cooked from fresh products and the portions are generous. salads are interesting and there is a good choice of fish and meat dishes. The map looks so interesting that we want to go back and try other dishes. menus are from 14€50 and there is a veggie menu for a few more euros.
Eat the menu, very simple and without interest. a simple salad with a melted cheese just like home. Two main meat dishes, the culminating point was that the meat was properly cooked. weak points, mediocre home fries and industrial and indifferent sauces. desserts followed the same style. Two young and enthusiastic waitresses were running the service, friendly but a lot of mistakes and the falcon eye of the " boss" seemed to help no one. very, very slow command, but then things got chained to a good rhythm. Would we go back to a sunny terrace in narbonne? Yes. Would we go back here? We took the menu, to be honest, we saw to pass more beautiful and generous dishes from the map. and judging by some of the most positive comments on this site, others seem to have had a better experience.
