This was recommended by a local and I'm thankful that he did. Loved the vibe, sat outside as it was summer, but inside looked good too. Staff were fun and energetic. Great food choices (lots of Okonomiyaki, suspect chef may be Japanese? , but the key to this restaurant is the wine. Lots of excellent choices, even by glass, and the staff clearly knew their wines. Don't miss it. View all feedback.
What Sylvie Muller doesn't like about Les Cuisiniers Cavistes:
charming setting and wonderful atmosphere. very friendly chef and hotel master. Unfortunately, the food was not up to the location. the entrance was very well presented but had no flavor. my husband's main lamb dish was good but I wouldn't recommend the stuffed zucchini. Poor pudding. expensive meals compared to the others we enjoyed in the region. View all feedback.
Spaceous restaurant with lovely staff and very friendly and professional service. Great food with local ingredients. I had the tagliatelle fruit de mer; a decent portion with copeous seafood shells; simply delicious. Good atmosphere, pleasant temperature and good sound panelling for decent sound levels. Can recommend.
We've been eating out most nights on this trip. After 20+ trips to France, it takes a lot to make such a positive impression as La Table made on us. The spare, attractive room has an informal atmosphere but the operation is thoroughly professional. The cooking is highly original and beautifully flavoured the kind of dishes that make you stop, savour and reflect. Peppy young staff too. Like eating well somewhere in lower Manhattan but at half the price and in French.
41 years of marriage, it's a celebration! We decided to celebrate this as a couple in the cavist cooks. beautiful menu at 21 euros with in-entrance: carpaccio of home salmon (for her), stuffed zucchini flowers (for him), two merlu nets with yellow zucchini, confit tomatoes, and panacota with mango behind the scenes. a real gustative delight, chef cuisine from fresh, seasonal products, and prepares everything live. Don't hesitate. Cavist cooks are great. Moreover the service is perfect, no stress, everything goes with a smile.
We had the chance to find five places for dinner. But what a meal! the oysters were excellent as the dry ink ravioli! and the holy stone with its garden vegetables, a delight. Let's not talk about the children's menu with the cod and the purée, but it's re-elected by the chef and just condimented as needed! And the rum baba for dessert, I never had such a good one! Idem for the pannacotta. really we had a great last night in narbonne!
The evening menu is 32€ and if you want liver it is 10€ more. The server speaks little Spanish. the menu was wide and you had to choose between 3 entries, 4 seconds and 3 desserts. Very rich.
