Contribute Feedback What Patrick Wagner doesn't like about La Table de Fontfroide:
close to the beautiful abbey, the irony table didn't delight us. we were three people and none of the dishes served was able to fully seduce us. Was it because of the summer? the menu at 25€ was really average and it was not better on the map with the Bavarian goat (12€) and the ravioli of st jacques (20€). the wine map is short and prefers local production. We will return to the abbey but we will eat elsewhere, desp... View all feedback.
Excellent service for a Baptism meal was of great quality, just as the pastry present on site and the staff. We highly recommend this place.
Dined at the cold table and with great pleasure we enjoyed excellent dishes with original flavors. The foie gras in the heart of dry ham is delicious. The excellent turbo and the cane fillet sangria sauce a pure delight. To finish the strawberry mousse with confit olives and its rosemary tile an artifice fire of flavors in the mouth. This place is a must. The staff is very professional and especially pleasant.
Perfect reception with smile and professionalism in a very pleasant setting. the proposed restoration is sought and varied. a good table in an exceptional site which is rare. a recommendation.
Delicious meal, presentation worthy of a gastro, from the entrance to the dessert everything is excellent, well presented.service pleasant and well done. The velvety of mussels is to fall. The wolf's cooking is perfect. the apricot gratin is perfectly married to the pistachio. the whole sprinkled with a nice cast of iron, the controversy. The products are fresh. the frame is beautiful. attention in season think to book. we visited the abbey before, our reservation did not correspond to the visiting schedules and the welcome kindly tasked itself to change our schedule to the restaurant, perfect. quality ratio / nickel price. The sanitary are very clean, it is a criterion of seriousness!
After reading the tripadvisor reviews on the table, I was about to know if I had to test the water or not. Happy to have done it. Come in, the water is good. boarded at lunch time by French and international tourists (yes, it is located in a tourist destination, so it is this kind of captive public - although food is certainly not a standard tourist tourbière), it could be prudent to book in advance and to book a table in the air-conditioned restaurant. there are plenty of choices - on the map, at average price and a more expensive fixed price (even a children's menu) food is fabulous and worthy of a top-rate Parisian restaurant or one of these exorbitant London business (although the price is better) we enjoyed a long quiet lunch here with a glass of wine, an ice cream and a coffee and we have had fun. a spectacular and perfect setting for a day of beachless farniente in the south of the france. very close to the A75 (exit 38) and approached by beautiful mountain landscapes. It's worth the trip. see my other opinion on the frigid abbey for more information about the tourist attraction that this restaurant is enjoying.
