A family-run gem off the main streets in Narberth. The food is reliably good, and recently over the top with duck l'orange on the dinner menu. Come for weekend brunch. Come back during the week for dinner Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Ryan Christopher 's Narberth We had a most delightful meal at the cozy and charming Ryan Christopher 's. I was jonesing for soft shells crabs and after some googling and yelping couldn 't find much besides places downtown. I made a few calls and they confirmed they did have them today. They served complimentary bread with a lovely pesto olive oil dip. Ambience wise it was nice to be able to sit outside and watch the neighborhood scene outside on a lovely almost summer evening. Our server was Kim, who was quite personable and friendly. We had the bacon wrapped scallops, soft shell crabs over a butter garlic sauce on a bed of pasta, crab cakes with cheesy mashed potatoes, fish and chips which was actually grilled grouper with latkes. We brought our own peach Moscato which paired perfectly with everything. Portions were pretty generous. We all really enjoyed our meals. My shrunken human REALLY loved this place and give it a 5 review. He asked this morning when we could go back. He was enjoying the food so much he forgot to demand to have screen time during our meal. Very lovely and memorable meal.
! Absolutely a 10 Star BYOB Restaurant experience! Friends and I dined last night. WOW is the word! Everything we ordered was prepared with Love! Hosts, Sevice, and the Ambiance was amazing! We ordered mussels, , filet mignon, crab cakes, poached salad and every plate was seasoned to a T! Hats off to the Chef and wonderful staff there! We cannot wait to return with family for brunch. The prices are absolutely worth the quality you will receive there!
The experience was underwhelming. My husband's steak was overcooked, and we suspect his roasted potatoes were leftover from brunch. I had the crab cakes, which were decent, but the spinach was quite bland. We decided not to order dessert.
The chicken was tough, and it seemed like it had been microwaved. The medium rare burger came out well done. Even though there were plenty of available seats under the canopy, we were asked to sit out on the street with noisy cars and trucks zooming by. I was disappointed and felt that my friend and I, as older ladies, were treated like second-class citizens. On a positive note, the service was very good.
