I did not know that kinatei is closed to dinner, the owner opens when she has a group. well, I was solo the owner took my rese I had a delicious and unforgettable meal! the food was so fresh and tasty and the variety of the 10 dishes was incredible. after dinner the owner took me to see a local website that I would have missed. then she left me in my hotel. what an amazing experience. We arrived in kinatei about 20 minutes before they closed. the host welcomed us and allowed us a cozy meal. she chatted with us all the time and even offered ve... read more We arrived in kinatei about 20 minutes before they closed. the host welcomed us and allowed us a cozy meal. she chatted with us all the time and even offered vegan suggestions for our future goals and gave us warnings of hidden animal products in typical Japanese products. the mistsuppe was amazing as the rice. I had the lunch package that was not the best I had, but I appreciated the opportunity to eat a vegan traditional Japanese lunch package. my partner got the Udon soup that was delicious. after our meal the owner served us fresh fruit and delicious dango as well as tee. it rained when we were done, and she offered us a trip to the train station! the owner is proud to offer a vegan oasis in a landscape that can be tough for vegans.
