I'm Neapolitan but I haven't lived in Naples for about 20 years I went to fuorigrotta several times, and the first time was on the road and so we stopped to eat there Everything was so good that even the next times I went to Naples I'm there True that the place is small, but also very characteristic and clean The service is quick, and the staff are always friendly and helpful The costs are low and the food is excelle... What Владимир Кованушић doesn't like about Trattoria Da Emilio:
The appearance of this restaurant is not the best; it's mostly poorly designed and does not feel cosy at all. The food, on the other hand, is pretty good, but we waited for a long time to get our portion. It was mostly a fish menu, and we enjoyed it. Another problem is the price; it is too much closer primarily for a trattoria like this. If you enter the bathroom, prepare for a heatwave to hit you, as the kitchen is... View all feedback.
We went two consecutive days. Off the tourist track. Food is great, authentic napoletano stuff. Prices have been kept low, great atmosphere. The owner is very friendly. Highly recommended.

If you want a classic Neapolitan Trattoria..you should search for better, but if you are desperate, then you can come in and have something from the menu.
Recommended in a very old and out of date Italian guide book dated 2008. Here is the entry. Among the clutter of eateries along the Marina Grande seafront, you will find Da Emilia, the archetypal family-run trattoria. It 's welcoming and laid-back and serves an uncomplicated menu of seafood classics. The food is delicious and the portions huge Frankly.5 years later I can concur that this is still the case! Lovely atmosphere, tables squashed together, chequered table cloths, chunky glassware and very large portions! A really fun evening with tasty food and very authentic. Would recommend for a chilled evening out with the sound of the sea and the buzz of fellow diners. Not fine dining but definitely a fine dinner!
I am visiting Naples and randomly selected this restaurant (It’s far enough outside of the city center to actually find parking). My waitress and hostess were very nice and welcoming. I’m not sure exactly what I ordered but it was gnocchi. It was my favorite meal I’ve had while road tripping through Italy. So good! It’s very hole in the wall place as well. I loved it.
