We stopped at L’ Apprado for diner on 3 September. We ordered red wine, they had none, so we settled for a bottle of white. The waiter was rude and a bit hostile as we looked at the menu. The menu had several items as most good Italian restaurants do. We chose an antipasto, it was not available. We chose a couple menu items, neither were available. At this point we told the waiter, we would just finish our white wine and water, then be on our way. He grumbled and left. He brought out plates and brought an antipasto we had not ordered, we declined it and ask for the check. He was visibly upset and did not bring the check for another 30 minutes. Some in our group of 5 left. When we finally got the bill it was 48.50 Euros for 2 bottles of water and a bottle of poor white wine. We can only assume this place is on it’s way out of business.
We stayed at this marina for a couple of days. The ravioli was so good we had a religious experience when we ate. Having the church hyms in the background just elevated the experience. We also had pizza and the fish. Good but not religious
Very nice food with fresh products. Good quality and service. We recommend! We had a lovely lunch with fresh fish and nice desert. the staff was very helpful and kind. Very good value for money.
I attended the Dinner of the Stars event. It was a spectacular, unforgettable event! Excellent service and a thrilling experience! Thank you
L'Approdo is a 4-star hotel located not far from Orta San Giulio, in the municipality of Pettenasco. Its contemporary design promises a breathtaking view of Lake Orta. And it must be said, upon entering the room, you won't be disappointed: if you choose a lake view, the view is truly delightful, especially at sunset. However, the problems begin upon entering the room: the little place looks a bit neglected, with a decent level of cleanliness, dotted with walls in need of renovation, a fair amount of dust, and the bed is as hard as it gets. If you're used to sleeping on a soft bed at home, prepare for a sleepless night! Breakfast, a highlight of a hotel stay, more than makes up for the room's shortcomings, but only partially. The variety of products is wide, without being overly packaged. A good mix that pleases everyone. For what it offers, the price is reasonable, but if you're looking for a fully-fledged 4-star experience, it might not be the right choice.
