Contribute FeedbackWe stayed at the San Francesco hotel were unsure of the restaurant due to mixed reviews we had read So glad we decided to experience the restaurant ourselves. Service was excellent, the Maitre D and team were fabulous, very attentive, nothing too much trouble even down to finding Earl Grey tea for me. The food was fresh and tasty, artfully presented. Combine this with the beautiful piano playing and amazing views over Naples to give a full on theatrical experience. Daniel and his team were spot on.
In terms of location and view is great. Also the interior has been nicely done. Nevertheless, the food was catastrophic, it took them 50 mins (after placing the order)to serve pasta with lobster for lunch, which wasn’t good. The staff barely pays attention, in general poor service. I can only recommend the place for coffee and some dessert.
Lumpy getting there as the address is the hotel but once we figured that out and took the elevator to the top which was really cool then back down to the third floor terrace this was a hidden gem. Grab a cab here maybe or visit san martino first then Have dinner here after and can walk the hill path down to it on the right about 20 min but gps is funky here and dont fo it in the dark... just look for the monastery hotel on the right and go by street numbers. Excellent food, pricey but best view for a meal from upper Napoli cozy and intimate.
