What Antonio José B doesn't like about La Campagnola:
The restaurant was recommended by my travel guide. The service was really good, the staff most welcoming and friendly speaking several languages). The food was decent. Not out of this world, but did the job. Maybe stick to the classic dishes. View all feedback.
The waitress was very helpful and kind. It’s bad that they don’t have a written menu, nothing is in English but waitress was always helping. It was worth waiting.
Pasta with fried zucchini and some local cheese pasta had good texture, the cheese was good, but the zucchini was fried (burned to the ashes) in old oil, and that oil gave a very bitter taste to the whole dish. Fried sea food mix nice texture, but the oil was again extremely used. In every bite, we could only feel how tired the oil was. The staff was ok, nice, and happy to answer questions. The included bread was nice but alone, without any oil or something that would make it easier to eat. Extremely disappointed, it's a sin to ruin good food with overused oil. The bathroom looks like a public bathroom. The toilet has no lid, so flush and let all the bacteria land on you. The price is too much for the taste. I felt extremely sick after this meal, which, for me it doesn't happen often.
We went for Christmas Eve dinner and had a wonderful time. Mandela, the waitress, is the best!! She helped make the evening memorable. The food is delicious and the pumpkin ravioli was soooo good.
Great food! the waiter/owner (young) who welcomed us and followed us, very competent and friendly. recommend the local
Good for a quick stop but the kitchen does not leave special memories
