Local immersed in the beautiful Via Riviera di Chiaia, four steps from the seafront. Extremely elegant and well furnished, but never too formal, in fact, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Sushi is of the highest level, true traditional sushi. If you expect to eat rolls made with the Philadelphia, pistachio or other Italianizations leave it alone. Here you eat pure sushi in the respect of the Japanese tradition. Local unique in its kind at this point of view. Fresh ingredients processed with wisdom, all accompanied by a wonderful representative capacity of the dish. Unique experience.
Just like Hercules engraved on the Calpe and Abila mountains, in the small but elegant and cozy Japay you should enter and find the writing no plus ultra.Japay is a place where perfection meets quality elegance and art. If you want to eat sushi do not go any further, this is the right place, perfect from the beginning to the end, without doubt the best I have ever eaten. Very well prepared the room staff. We will see you soon to try the chef's tasting menu..siete perfect raga. CHAPEAU.
Great food! high quality fish and very prepared staff.
I’ve tried many infamous Japanese restaurants in Naples but the quality of this I haven’t found it by anyone. The fish is of very first choice, the compositions are simple and tasty, the boys in the very polite and caring room. The restaurant is small has few tables and a private room. The account I found right for what we ate and drank considering that sushi is an expensive dish. I recommend it, I will go back to try the other dishes!
We stayed in this restaurant for the first time on Saturday night, we were in 4 and we were accommodated by making us choose between the normal room or the “privè” we chose the latter (only pepper salty enough wet). The good service despite the girl in the room told us that the restaurant has been open for about 3 months. The quality of sushi is great, all very good, here you eat the real sushi, almost all raw and very few cooked things! We will definitely return. Good luck!
