It seemed a bit odd to go to a Japanese restaurant in Italy, but by the end of our 2 week trip we were getting tired of pizza and pasta so we gave Honzen a try. It was brilliant! The prawn maki rolls with a crispy skin were the highlight, but bao buns were also delicious. The Italian lager was lovely and light (the only word of warning is that they don't do any soft drinks apart from coke and water, so not much choice for children! We arrived a little early, so sat in the Piazza across the road before going in the view across the bay of Naples is lovely. We took in the same view after our meal when it was dark, also delightful This place seems like a well kept secret, being in a very quiet part of town and not at all full on a Friday night (although we were probably quite early by Italian standards . Definitely worth a visit!
