Dolce Amaro Caffe - Napoli

If you go once, you'll definitely come back. This pastry shop is really special: the owners are very nice, the coffee is great and the fins are heavenly. I tried everything, black and white chocolate croissants, donuts, puffs of various kinds. Everything is delicious. a great place to have breakfast before starting to visit the city.

Don't come here. I've been in Italy for over a week, this is the first place I felt taken advantage of because of being a tourist. Charged $9 for a small glass of wine and was asked for a tip. So was each lady I am traveling with. Skip this location. Go to A Volo A Volo, you'll receive triple the size of wine in a glass for $4 . Horrible customer service and the business thrives on overcharging when it's apparent you are a tourist. First place I ever felt insulted by waiters asking for a tip when it's not custom in Italy.

Paused here having arrived in Napoli by ferry, walking up to the Duomo. Really friendly staff made us feel welcome and laughed and joked with us, despite the 37 degree heat. Coffee was perfect. Overall, what's not to like? Would recommend and not hesitate to stop there again next time we are passing.

Went here for a beer and a glass of wine. Small measure of wine and a small beer arrived with lots of free snacks. €16 and he had the cheek to ask for a tip, suggesting €20 total. Avoid!

An easy place to find and a pleasant place to have a coffee and a pastry. The coffee here is strong even by Italian standards.
