Only 2 sad looking prawn... read more Warm welcome ruined by the food. Pork arrived undercooked and had to be sent back. Pasta dishes basic, small and swimming in olive oil. Only 2 sad looking prawns on shrimp linguine. At the end of the meal we were told cash only (no prior warning). The owner was more than happy to ecort us to some dodgy ATM. Checked bank account later and the said ATM was trying to pull €2000 (luckilyblocked by the bank)! You decide for yourself but to me the whole place smells of scam!

The fish was... read more Really under cooked fish with raw interior was removed for a re cook and came back now cooked but unappetising still with the barely cooked pasta. The fish was full of bones which I am used to dealing with but I had to take a plate from another table to contain them. Was offered no explanation or apology or reduction in the bill. The ordered mixed vegetables never showed up. My wife’s pasta with onions and meat was ok.

I’d read the bad reviews but the place I’d been aiming for was closed and I was hungry. I had calamari (which I think was on the turn), accompanied by (literally) three leaves of wilted rocket that they’d maybe managed to pick up off the floor. Not nice. Really awful. No locals, only tourists. Avoid if you possibly can!

Shrimp and Calamari were well seasoned and fresh, and when I (In my hunger) began eating the greens they were served on, the host came with a bottle of olive oil and seasoned them for us! A true hidden gem.
