Came to this spot during a trip to Italy and fancying a change from Italian food. I really enjoyed my meal here. The food was very tasty, very reasonably priced and the decor was beautiful. A diamond in the rough

The best sushi I have ever eaten, the fried Nutella and banana was divine! Everything was super affordable. Staff were really friendly. Really great Japanese restaurant perfect just before or after a ferry. Does look shut from the outside!

Seeking out alternatives to ubiquitous pizzerias, we braved the frankly terrifying traffic in the port area of Naples to seek sanctuary in Bambu. It's quite a cavernous place, with cold lighting that really should be changed to create a warmer ambience. From a bewilderingly long menu, which also includes Chinese and Thai options, we chose crab asparagus soup, prawn tempura, grilled salmon and tuna sashimi. It was all good, the latter in particular. The staff couldn't have been nicer, and the service was very rapid. A bottle of Greco di Tufo was very keenly priced at €15.

My husband and I ate here twice. On our 9th night in Italy, first in Naples we had had a really disappointing experience at an Italian restaurant nearby, so the following night we decided to give Italian food a miss. The restaurant has a really good mix of cuisine. The spring rolls (vegi) were lovely. The noodles were perfect and delicious. Ask for their chilli sauce which came in a small dish...it was yum! They have Singha beer which is my favourite. Excellent value. I loved that they have a copy of their menu on line so that you can check it out before you visit (the only place we went in Italy that did). Service was good. I only have one complaint which is that it doesn't open until 7.30 in the evening which felt quite late for us (used to eating earlier). Also worth mentioning slept well after eating sometimes after chinese food I get really thirsty in the night (I think most people will know what I'm talking about I'm sure), but I didn't after eating here. We enjoyed our food so much we returned for a second visit the night before we flew home.
