Excellent quality of food. we will not easily forget the delicious dishes. super helpful staff. upper cleaning. thanks for this fantastic experience. We'll be back as soon as possible!
For years we frequent this historical gastronomy in the centre of vomero, typical Neapolitan cuisine you have the possibility to choose from both the always rich counter and from the menu to the cards in the council room to try their brunette, not to mention the bread, ambrosino a guarantee
Not honest. My wife is from Naples so we are always very attentive of what we order off the menu in terms of price. At the end of the meal the waiter didn’t want to give me our change as if it was obligatory to give him the rest and they charged us 5 Euro more than the listed price for wine. My wife who is from the area confronted the manager and they gave us our money back. This is a common trick some places do when they think you are a tourist. They heard us speaking English with our children and assumed they could get away with it. You’ll be fine as long as you are very aware of the price and the surcharge for sitting at a table or if you’re just getting something on the go. Be aware that they have different menus for locals and tourists. If something isn’t right don’t be afraid to confront them or ask for the polizia to help. I really do not like dishonest practices towards tourists. I will not return. I hope I can help you!

We’d been visiting the nearby Castel Sant’Elmo (well worth a visit for the views alone) and had tired legs and empty tummies when we stumbled across this little gem. Seeing the colourful deli counter was like walking into food heaven and we seemed to spend ages just looking and trying to decide what to eat. Talk about being spoiled for choice; we were like kids in a sweet shop! Finally, I chose some salmon whilst my friend had the chicken, both of which were served with some perfectly cooked veggies and were absolutely delicious. I can’t remember the prices but recall that they were reasonable. Portion sizes were very good too and we left entirely satisfied and with full tummies. From what we saw, this is basically a deli with a few tables so, even though the food is excellent, it’s not the sort of place where you could linger over a leisurely lunch. Nevertheless, it was perfect for what we wanted. Such a shame that we don’t live nearer as we’d be regular customers!
