**Dining at Veranda E: A Mixed Culinary Adventure in Naples**

Situated in a picturesque setting, Veranda E boasts enchanting ambiance and attentive service, making it an appealing choice for special occasions. However, diners should approach the Chef's Specials with caution, as some may veer toward excessive sweetness, dampening the overall experience. While the menu features premium options, including veal and grouper, consistency in quality can be hit or miss. Notably, the restaurant garners praise for its delicious appetizers and generous portion sizes. Ideal for romantic evenings, the lush patio adds to the charm, but potential patrons should weigh the high price tag against mixed reviews before booking a table.

I had a fantastic dining experience! Everything was absolutely perfect. The warm welcome made us feel right at home, and the table setting and ambiance were delightful. The service was outstanding, and the food was delectable. I can't wait to return!

I only had desert. Had her famous banana care. Ready! A great show of the staff. We want to go back to dinner. I fought for my wife's birthday for dinner. Very nice, it's worth the price, but I don't think we feel like going back. Very good, but not so incredible that we go back. Just to clarify, nothing was wrong, nothing was bad or even close to bad. For the price we just expected a little closer to Wow.

We had a table for six, and the service was top-notch. Four of us ordered the short ribs, which were served in generous portions alongside fresh, large vegetables – simply delicious! The other two diners chose the fish, and it was outstanding as well. We started with a few appetizers and paired our meal with a couple of reasonably priced bottles of wine, which brought our total to $900. It was definitely a treat worth indulging in!

Clear lights. atmosphere like no other. I had a boss who had the Tomahawk Chop 32 oz for 2. It should be divided. Well prepared and cut right in front of your eyes. Anticipation and enjoyment all around. Also the staff was excellent, always try to make the night more pleasant. A must in Naples.

Great dining experience. Even got a picture with Jon Taffer from the TV show Bar Rescue. We had the whole flash fried snapper, some foie gras and octopus. Everything very delicious.

Excellent service. Prompt. Professional. Leisurely service, no rushing. Food was exquisite. Had the steak prime tartare, there are only a few places in all of the greater Naples area that has it on their menu. The Kung Poa Seafood was especially good: grouper, scallop, calamari, shrimp, bell pepper, chili, cardamom-jasmine rice The ambience is unique in Naples, this is a hidden gem tucked away off 3rd St and 5th St South in the Escalante Hotel, it’s like stepping back in time to a comfortable, familiar place.

Food was delicious, extremely limited menu! Didn’t realize that when I made the reservation.Sat in the courtyard area. Which happens to be a beautiful environment inside the boutique hotel. The disappointing part about the evening was flies kept flying in my wine. Mentioned it to the waiter. He seem baffled. I asked if he could replace my wine. Never got a replacement wine. I asked if I could get a cover, to cover my wine. And he brought a couple napkins, with no replacement wine. I was shocked.

Went To Veranda E for Valentine’s Day had the tortellini app, crunchy grouper entree, and peach cobbler dessert. Food and ambiance were amazing our waitress was awesome will definitely be back ??

Dining area is incredible. Waste of an amazing area. Kitchen is the absolute worst I've ever seen in my entire 27+ year career. I will suggest all visit Sails, Delmar, Ichi Togarashi or LA Trattoria instead of Veranda E.

We had dinner with friends for the first time. We found the setting very special as you ate around the pool with beautiful vegetation and lighting. The menu was fine but not extensive. The wine list had some nice offerings but again not extensive. The service was good, not great. They did not come by very often. The food itself was fine, maybe average. Presentation was good, but nothing seemed special. Especially for these prices. Overall, it is a pretty place that is on the expensive side for food that is fine.

Had heard many reviews and recommendations for a romantic setting with great food so we chose this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. The hostess did wish us a Happy Anniversary but sat us at a very small table by the doors away from everyone. As itwas pretty full we thought okay it will be nice to have our own space. As for the food....my husband had the grouper housespecialty) was very dry and he didn't eat half of it. I ordered the Sea Bass which the waitress highly recommend...it was coldinside and the spring veggies it came on where pea pods with all the ends still on not a nice looking or tasting plate....shetook just the fish back to kitchen they heated it up and returned it ..she did take it off bill without us asking but we willnot be back. Very disappointing nothing special

Location and ambience are great; service is very good. Unless you are inordinately fond of sugar, do NOT order anything that is designated as a Chef 's Special. This probably would have been a much better experience if we had just ordered regular menuitems. We had an Asian- inspired seafood dish (a special) which I can only describe as candied seafood. Properly cooked to theright degree of doneness, but so sweet it makes your skin crawl. Prices are high but that 's to be expected in a major restaurantin the heart of Naples. But be sure and ask about the level of sweetness in the dishes you 're contemplating. You may be in for ashock.

Price is no object place for the old but still somewhat mobile and very rich to gather for exceptional food and photos! No bar, but excellent wines and beer, Veranda E is set in a garden by a pool, with exceptional visuals, exceptional service and greatfood. We had 6, a great table, superb service, and 4 of us had short ribs which were huge portioned, great vegetables and justwonderful. Two had fish which was exceptional too! Apps, a couple bottles of relatively modest wine brought the bill to $900. Definitely a treat.

My husband and I are long time regulars, frequenting Veranda E even during the unpopular hot rainy summers because they only have outdoor dining. We are the kind of customers that tip more than 20%, order the $18 salads, $20 calamari, $50 entrees plusdessert. The previous GM, Marcos always welcomed us with a smile and made us feel like valued guests. For the last two years, the GM Tommy always looks unshowered and is downright rude! Since we only ever see him as we arrive or leave it was easy enoughto ignore. We brought our friends there last night and wanted our favorite Austin Hope wine, but they were out of it so webrought our own two bottles fully expecting to be charged a reasonable corkage fee. When the bill arrived there was a $35corkage for the first bottle and $50 for the second. One of our friends did order a glass of white wine, so we certainly spent agenerous amount. My husband questioned the $50 corkage fee and politely asked our server if he might talk to Tommy about it.Tommy never came to our table. Instead the server returned and said the corkage fees are clearly stated on the menu and that istheir policy, period. We will not be going back unless we hear that Marcos or another competent GM is there to run the show. Ifour business was appreciated the second corkage fee would have been waived or adjusted considering we only brought our ownbecause they did not have any Austin Hope in stock. $35 and $50 was excessive and the lack of respect to not even come to ourtable…

I can’t express how wonderfully impressed I am with this hidden gem. The atmosphere transports you to a European resort. Michel is hands-on, ensuring that everything is absolutely perfect. Lucca provided outstanding service with a fantastic attitude—so warm and cheerful. The food was exceptional; inventive, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious!

The food is exceptional, and I highly recommend this restaurant. The ambiance is unbeatable, featuring a stunning patio that overlooks a pool. While it is on the pricier side, it’s a fantastic option for a date night.
