Although the shop caters to a vegan clientele, recent reviews indicate that options are limited, with coconut milk as the primary vegan base and almond milk currently unavailable. Despite the intriguing flavors and mix-ins, many found the overall taste lacking richness, highlighting a need for sweeter enhancements. The clearly labeled menu and friendly staff make it a fun spot for families, but it's suggested improvements, like adding vegan cones and sweeter options, could elevate the experience.
It is a cool concept and beautiful that they can adapt the cocos milk base with many different options. everything is very clearly marked so they know what their options are. I just wish they had vegan cone!
I wish they had milk as an option, but everything is very clear. the personal does not always have a note, so make sure that they check their detailed lists.
I came here expected that the mandible milk base as described by all other reviewers, just to find out that they no longer offer it leave the only vegan option to be cocos milk. my coffee aromatized cocos milk with walnuts and vegan chocolate grass lubricated like just kokosmilch and was lumpy sweet. my husband pistachio aromatized cocosm milk mixture was better, the pistachios seemed to mask the cocosus something. I think mandible milk would have been better.
They have several flavors and toppings, which are vegan and they can choose mandible milk as basic. I have enjoyed creating different aromes and also watching them create the ice before my eyes by freezing it with liquid nitrogren. I think this is a great place to take also children, as I think they will get a kick from the clouds of liquid nitrogen that cools them off. I like some flavor combinations more than others, so I would suggest trying more than one. I especially like the cinnamon taste and the maple syrup tasted with pecans tastes like butter pecan to me. helene happycow botschafter for neapel updated by previous review on 2019-05-21
Sub Zero is off to a great start by providing vegans an alternative for an ice-cream treat. The owners are just learning about vegan lifestyle. You can customize your ice-cream and the menu is labeled with vegan and gluten-free items. The one area that could be improved for vegans is to provide sweeter if desired such as dates or agave. The end product with Almond milk was slightly on the bland side; however, this could be changed easily. The owner said she would try bringing agave. This is a great place to bring friends since everyone can have a choice. Be sure to let the owners know you found them on Happy Cow Christopher, Happy Cow Ambassador, Naples Florida
