We had a wonderful time dining outside while we waited for Asap. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and friendly, and she managed to handle our sarcastic table with ease. We spent the entire night laughing. The only downside to our experience was the crab cake appetizer, which was quite disappointing and is the reason I'm giving four stars. Additionally, my swordfish wasn’t as charred as I prefer; it seemed more p... View all feedback.
So my wife and I first experienced this mom and pop Seafood restaurant around 1997-98. When my parents permanently moved to Naples. And when we vacation here now that they have passed it's still such good eating !!! Staff are great and friendly. Any of you that are like me and like Manhattan Clam Chowder over New England Clam Chowder...they have it !!! And they serve the New England Clam Chowder too. But I've never had it !! Ha !! I Had the double lite fried fare of clam strips and shrimp and vegetables. My wife had scallops and shrimp skewers and vegetables. It was just a great meal. They do take out as well.
Takes us over 2 hours to get here. Well worth the trip. New England seafood clams with belly! So good! The onion rings, fantastic. Steamers with butter, calamari fried to perfection. Served with 2 sides. Scallops so light and sweet, just perfect with 2 sides of onion rings. Left full and happy. Wish we lived closer.
As others have said, really good food and friendly staff. I had the fried grouper sandwich with fries and onion rings (picture). Even the tomato was excellent! Not cheap, probably the most I've paid for a sandwich, but most places only give you one side. I had enough onion rings to share. We also had really good calamari and fantastic hush puppies. I don't normally like whole corn in hush puppies but I ate 5 of them. Everyone else loved their food (the fried shrimp looked amazing). The inside is just OK but they do have tables outside. Best of all, their sweet tea is actually Southern sweet!
Prices have risen, but it's still worth it. The best lobster rolls I had so far, amazing quality lobsters and tasty sides. I've been on my way for 4 years and I'm still going back when I come back to Naples. I personally don't care so much about the appearance or feeling of restaurant when the food is amazing BUT if you are someone who would like to sit in a pretty restaurant, this is not for you. The place could use a new look, but again, for me it doesn't matter because the food and service is amazing.
This is the place for seafood in Naples. Value for money, Steamers remembers the rustic cabins of Cape Code with florida Angel Spirit. Local fish like Snapper and Grouper are fresh and amazingly steamed as darkened. Fried Calamari is a must as an appetizer. Just room. I repeat ONLY place where I would order shells, and I would still ask if they are fresh (they have won?t lie above) The service is excellent. Waiters have been product service for ages and this gives the place this family small restaurant environment. It has beautiful seating outdoors and bathrooms are clean and tidy. Nice selection of drinks. Not much choice of dessert. Key Lime Pie; a must when you visit FL.
