Customers were sitting closely together at the bar, with no one practicing so... read more Today, I visited the restaurant at 4 PM and was taken aback by how crowded it was. Customers were sitting closely together at the bar, with no one practicing social distancing or wearing masks, despite the ongoing pandemic. I noticed that the people working on their laptops and the bartender were also not wearing masks, which made me feel uncomfortable. As a result, I decided to order my items to go, choosing a raspberry lime mojito and one of each vegan dessert. Unfortunately, the desserts were displayed in a tall, narrow case and I couldn’t see them properly because of the other patrons nearby. The desserts, made by GreenBites, were quite tasty, but the mojito was a disappointment. It tasted terrible and lacked any recognizable flavors, almost like chemicals. I ended up throwing it away. Given this experience, I’m unsure if I will return to this restaurant.

I tried the Snickers... read more I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by how Kava affected me, as it made me smile and feel relaxed. I tried the Snickers cocktail, which I enjoyed, although it was a bit too sweet for my liking. The original Kava drink was fantastic. The service was excellent, and it was evident that the staff are genuinely happy in their roles. As a PhD student in psychology, I recognize how important it is for employees to be happy in order to create a positive experience for customers. I really hope Nectarlab expands to South Bend, Indiana soon, as I appreciate well-decorated establishments.
