Yay, finally an Italian authentic market! Read more about this place in Naples Weekly Paper. It was charcuterie night had to pick up high quality meat for the board....prosciutto di parma, hot capicola mortadella! Of course we also need Italian cookies! This market is amazing, great food going meals. We bought a container of the Italian wedding soup. We can't wait to go back! A small taste of heaven View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Neapolitan Gourmet:
Like most, I was fascinated by the 1.5 lb italian combo. Not your traditional Italian combo after taking the first bite. Instead of oil and vinegar its balsamika. Very little balsamicum I can add. The bread was very soft, which I do not consider to be a large Italian subsized. It was quite large, but it lacked taste. Also the onions were not there. I'll give him another shot about the great reviews. View all feedback.

I can definitely say that the Italian sub is a big, delicious sandwich. The fast food sub-sandwich will make better their game because there is ZERO reason to go somewhere where most of the sandwich is bread and salad when a place like Neapolitan exists.

So I accidentally burst at this place because I wanted a good sandwich and I remember seeing this place when I was close. I have lived in Naples for 18 years and have many different places for many different foods. The first thing that caught my eye was the fact that they make legitimate fig cookies. I grew up in an Italian household and married to Italian woman many years later, so I like to think I'm a damn good Italian food. You have a limited menu, but it is very understandable, as we are just a week or so away from the worst hurricane in the US history. I ordered their most popular item, the Italian sandwich with bright redness. I'm sitting here to finish the second half, but it's legitimate the freshest tasty sandwich I had from a real deli in this area. Very warm and nice people work here. I would recommend this place to everyone if they were looking for a good sandwich. The bread is phenomenal. I know some Italian places you have to tear the bread in the hope that you do not lose a tooth, but this bread is softly chewy and simply perfect. Kudos for these guys who are open and feed the public and if you are in the neighborhood, definitely come down and give Neapolitan deli an attempt.
I am so glad I was hungry for a sub and was just outside of the Neapolitain Gourmet the other day. I walked in and was greeted with a smile and great service. I ordered their famous Italian sub and was in heaven. You know it's good when the taste brings back childhood memories...! Crunchy bread crust filled with beautifully sliced meat, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, etc...I've, by chance discovered the best Italian Gourmet Deli in the town of Naples. Luckstruck I highly recommend it!
